I’m Launching Daily Habits; A New Blog on Consistency and Clarity

Because the first step isn’t perfection; it’s showing up, even after you miss a day.

Hi friend,

I’m writing this newsletter post on a tram at 21:30, on my way to the gym.

It’s late. I’ve had a full day. And I could find a dozen excuses not to write this, or not to train. But I don’t want to break the chain.

That’s the mindset that helped me write over 100 Atomic Essays this year, not perfectly, not without missed days, but with one consistent intention: to keep coming back.

I even missed April 30 yesterday.
It was the final day of a 30-day writing challenge, and instead of publishing a wrap-up with reflections and lessons, I didn’t send anything out.

But this isn’t about perfection.
It’s about returning.

That’s what Daily Habits is about.

This is a new experiment; a simple, daily(ish) newsletter where I’ll share short reflections on the routines, systems, and mindset shifts that help me show up. Some days I’ll write from my desk. Some days from the gym. Some days, like today, on public transport between everything else.

Each issue will focus on one small idea: a habit I’m building, a challenge I’m facing, or a reminder I needed myself. The goal is to keep things grounded and real. No hype, no hacks, just daily clarity through small steps.

As James Clear puts it in Atomic Habits:

“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”

James Clear

This newsletter is becoming one of my systems.
A way to reflect. A way to reset. A way to stay connected to what matters.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll share some of the lessons I’ve learned from my favorite habit books; Atomic Habits, Tiny Habits, and The Power of Habit. I’ll also explore what’s worked in my personal routines, where I’ve stumbled, and how I’ve been using writing to think more clearly every day.

I’m also working on a few Educational Email Courses and other resources that I hope will support you in building habits and systems that stick, especially if you’re a knowledge worker, creator, or someone trying to move forward one day at a time.

If you’re reading this, thank you for being here. If you’re building your own habit right now; writing, running, parenting, resting, I’m with you.

And if this resonates, I’d love to hear from you.

Just reply to this email, send me a DM, or leave a comment.

Let me know what you’re working on, what you’re struggling with, or what kind of support would help you stay consistent.

Let’s keep showing up.
One day at a time.
